ScrumLint – Deriving Knowledge of Scrum Implementation from Development Artifacts

Is there a way to shave years off of the trial and error implementing Agile?
Find Out Now.

Linting tools identify source code fragments that do not com- ply with a set of pre-defined rules. While such feedback tools are equally desirable for the adoption of agile development processes, their implementation is a challenging task due to the intentional lack of formal process and method descrip- tions. The ScrumLint tool presented in this paper solves this issue by using digital collaboration artefacts to calculate a set of metrics that reflect the core ideas of agile methods. By that, development teams are able to get immediate feed- back about their development practices and either adopt them accordingly, or change the metrics in order to better reflect their project reality.
